Updates to the ‘Find a Cambridge School’ Page

We often hear from online schools that the Find a Cambridge School page, which shows whether physical schools accept private candidates, is not always accurate.

Schools have a responsibility to update their status with us but we are also intending to proactively reach out to them to learn whether they do in fact accept private candidates. Over the coming months, all physical Cambridge-approved schools will be contacted to confirm whether they accept private candidates, ensuring our website remains as up to date as possible.

We hope this helps you support your students in finding exam centres more easily.

A reminder that it is each Cambridge online school’s responsibility, before enrolling a student onto an exam course, to ensure that you and the family have identified a suitable exam venue.

We would love your feedback to help us focus this work and Cambridge will soon be sending you an invitation to take part in short surveys, so keep an eye on your inbox!

We also plan to consult with schools in more detail about the syllabus content, assessment, and potential changes during the redevelopments at a later date.

To learn more about why Cambridge introduces new curriculums and why existing syllabuses need to be reviewed, read a recent Cambridge blog on the topic.

Results reporting update

In May, you will once again be invited to take part in the result reporting process, this time for the summer 2025 series. This free service is available to all online schools and requires you to provide specific student data to match with our records of private candidates worldwide. Keep an eye on your inbox for further details!

Please note that the official student grades will always appear on each student’s Statement of Results.
