How to prepare for results release for the March 2026 exam series
Wednesday 22 April 2026
Join for detailed information about preparing for results release, giving your candidates their results and certificates, and applying for enquiries about results. You can also ask our Results and Despatches teams questions.
For any syllabus that has a coursework component or a speaking test, it is important that you or your teaching colleagues know:
when and how to submit your candidates’ work
which forms need to be submitted
how to submit marks for internally assessed components.
The samples database has detailed guidance about how to submit your candidates’ work (either via Submit for Assessment or in hardcopy) and the relevant deadline(s). You can also download the latest version of the forms for each component.
Your candidates’ results may be delayed if we do not receive your marks and samples by the deadline.
Submitting requests for return of coursework
You need to tell us if you would like us to return any moderated work. Complete and submit Coursework and moderation – Form 6 by 6 June 2026. Please note that this form is not for examined coursework.
You don’t need to do anything, if you do not want us to return the work you have submitted to us.
Keep copies of all the audio and/or visual recordings that you send us for moderation as we will not return these to you.
Phase 6: Results and certificates
Results release
Results will be available on Direct on Tuesday 19 May 2026 at 06:00 BST/UTC+1*.
*BST is British Summer Time. UTC is Coordinated Universal Time and is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. Please convert this to your local time zone.
We may contact you between now and results release with questions about your scripts or candidate attendance at any of your exams.
You or another member of staff must be available to answer these urgent queries. If we cannot resolve the problem, we may have to issue ‘NO RESULT’ or ‘PENDING’ outcomes. Email info@cambridgeinternational.org immediately if you need to update your contact details.
Priority results
We know many candidates have deadlines for submitting results to educational institutions around the world, which may be close to our results release date. Your candidates can ask us to send a priority statement of results directly to their chosen educational institutions or employers on the day results are released. These results will arrive on the same day or shortly after results release.
For applications to UK universities, we automatically send Cambridge International AS & A Level, Cambridge International Project Qualification and Cambridge AICE Diploma results to the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) in time to meet university deadlines. There is no need to request priority results information for these qualifications if a candidate is applying to a UK university. If candidates need to send other qualifications, such as Cambridge IGCSEs, they will still need to apply for priority results.
Candidates can view their results directly on results release day if you give them access to our Candidate Results website.
We recommend you set up your candidates with access this month, so you have time to provide candidates with their login details before results release.
Moderation reports
If you made entries for internally assessed components, your moderation report will be available from Direct within 14 days of results release.
Access to scripts
Access to Scripts allows you to download a copy of a candidate's script showing the most recent stage of marks and annotations only.
You can download most of the candidate scripts for the March 2026 exam series from results release until 25 June 2026.
Access to Scripts is available via My Cambridge. You can use the same email address and password if you already have a My Cambridge account.
See our website for more information and frequently asked questions, including guidance about setting up an account and how to download your scripts.
