We are emailing you because you have made entries for one or more of the following syllabuses and components in the June 2026 exam series:
- Cambridge IGCSE Music (0410/02, 03)
- Cambridge IGCSE (9–1) Music (0978/02, 03).
What do I need to know?
From the June 2026 exam series onwards, you will submit work for the above components using Submit for Assessment. This means that you will submit all coursework components in these syllabuses using Submit for Assessment, which will simplify the submission process for you. There is no change to how your candidates produce their work.
We have made some changes to the carry-forward options available for Cambridge IGCSE Music (0410) for assessment in 2026 only. Please see below for more information.
We will not accept printed work, and we will return this to you at cost. This may delay your candidates receiving their results.
What do I need to do?
Send us work for the above components using Submit for Assessment by 30 April 2026.
Carry forward of results: Cambridge IGCSE Music (0410) for assessment in 2026
Cambridge IGCSE Music (0410) has been revised for first assessment in 2026.
There are some changes to carry-forward options available for assessment in 2026 only. These are summarised below.
Assessment in 2026
It will not be possible to carry forward any marks assessed according to the pre-revision version of the syllabus into 2026.
Candidates will not be able to carry forward the marks they achieved in 2025 for coursework (Component 2 Performing or Component 3 Composing).
Candidates will be able to carry forward the marks they achieve in 2026 for coursework components. This coursework will have been assessed according to the revised version of the 0410 syllabus. This includes the carry forward of coursework marks from June 2026 to November 2026.
Assessment in 2027
Candidates will be able to carry forward the marks they achieve in 2026 for coursework components. This coursework will have been assessed according to the revised version of the 0410 syllabus.
