We are contacting you because you have made entries for Cambridge IGSCE Music (0410) and/or Cambridge IGCSE (9–1) Music (0978) in the June 2026 exam series.
What do I need to know?
For Composition 2 of component 3 (Composing), candidates can complete either a score or a written commentary.
This means that not all ‘learner sections’ for 0410 and 0978 in Submit for Assessment need to have work uploaded.
What do I need to do?
Upload all candidate work for the syllabus to the relevant learner sections in Submit for Assessment. Mark the section as ‘Missing’ where the candidate has not completed the work. For example, if the candidate has chosen to complete a score for component 3, upload this and mark the learner section for the written commentary as ‘Missing’.
This means that each learner section either has work uploaded to it or a tick in the ‘Missing’ box. Once this is done, the ‘Submit’ button will become active and you can complete the submission.
Do not leave a section empty as you cannot submit the work without completing all sections.
